JEANNE M. LECONTE

Jeanne M. Leconte, is a South Florida local who earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude, from Florida International University. She was named a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Delta Iota Epsilon Honor Society for her academic distinction. After graduation, Jeanne worked at law firms where, in her roles as paralegal and law clerk, she gained broad experience in different areas of law such as mass tort, immigration, and transactional law and litigation.

Committed to a life goal of helping people and making a real difference in this world for herself, her family, and her community, Jeanne pursued a law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law and received honors such as the Book Award in Family Law and the Florida Bar Award for Outstanding Labor and Employment Law Student.

In law school, Jeanne interned for Legal Services of Greater Miami and was a member of the Public Interest Law society, both organizations providing humanitarian and financial assistance to indigent communities in South Florida. Jeanne earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2017 and expects to be sworn in as a Florida Licensed attorney in the coming months.
